Anyue Vairocana Cave 8: Heavenly King

安岳毗盧洞第8窟天王像
四川安岳
位於窟口右側。天王高鼻深目，顴骨凸出，面部線條粗獷，闊口厚唇，嘴角向下，下巴寬厚。頭戴鳳翅盔，身著鎧甲，肩繫巾，結於胸前，外披披風，右手拄一斧，左手輕按於右手臂上，身體微側。下身繫裙，腰間束寬腰帶，腹部略鼓。
此像雕刻精細，熟練的技巧表現出披風等織物與鐵製盔甲的不同質感，造像威武卻不失真，富有生活氣息，宛如北宋年間（960～1127）戍守邊關的將軍形象。
