Bazhong Rock Carvings Shuining Temple Niche 2
巴中水寧寺石窟第2龕
四川巴中
位於水寧寺後山崖上。為外方內二重檐佛帳龕，外龕敞口平頂。內龕寬1.18公尺，高1.34公尺，進深0.8公尺。龕口垂帳刻三角形紋飾，鏤雕菱形網格紋，下垂華繩、流蘇。瓜棱形龕柱。龕內設一佛二弟子二菩薩五尊像，主尊為釋迦牟尼佛，結跏趺坐於束腰蓮座上。螺髻低平，臉龐方圓，眼微闔，肩部寬厚，內著袒右僧祇支，外披袈裟，左手置於右腳之上，右前臂抬起，已損。有身光和頭光，頭光飾以花卉。
主尊兩側脇侍二弟子二菩薩，姿態恭肅端嚴。龕口立二天王二力士，二聽法女立於天王身後，神情虔敬。天王身軀短小，是工匠為了不遮擋後面的主像而作的變動處理，頗顯特殊。二力士形體魁偉，肌肉凸出。整龕小而淺，造像數量多，因而略顯空間狹小局促。龕壁淺浮雕四株菩提樹，龕頂淺浮雕盛開的蓮花象徵華蓋。
