Vairocana Buddha

大日如來坐像
中國
此造像銅鑄漆金，取半跏趺坐，右手撫膝，左手掌心朝上放右踝處。肉髻細密，目光下視，神情安詳。
造像內有銘文「時盛明二年（1163）歲次癸未孟春正月十五日敬造金銅像大日遍照一身，座資為造像施主彥賁張興明●（j）領踰城娘三男等嘗願三身成就四智圓明世世無障惱之憂劫劫免輪迴之苦千生父母萬劫怨家早出蓋纏蒙證佛果次願三界窮而福田無盡四空竭而財法未消發結十地比日同圓三身之妙果」。
大理盛明二年，即南宋隆興元年，「彥賁」是大理國（937～1253）官職名。此像長期流失海外，一九九九年藏於上海博物館。
