潼南大佛
中國
位於重慶市潼南縣大佛寺。據潼南縣志載，唐咸通年間（860～873）始造佛首，期間工程中斷多年，北宋靖康元年（1126），道士王了知命工匠打造身軀，至南宋紹興二十一年（1151）竣工。大佛雖歷時三百餘年才完成，然比例協調，渾然一體，堪為奇蹟。清同治年間（1862～1874）又重妝大佛金身。
大佛有螺髮，兩眼炯炯，左手置膝前，右手平置，結跏趺坐，全身飾金。整尊大佛依山而鑿，雄峙涪江。上方覆七重飛閣以蔽風雨，為後人所建。
