寶冠佛立像
緬甸
此緬甸造像為蒲甘王朝（Bagan，約849〜1287）晚期作品。佛頭戴寶冠，冠上置高聳佛塔。身著袈裟，巍然站立，高度如真人一般。神態靜謐祥和，面部略朝下，額頭寬廣，雙目垂視，鼻挺唇薄，雙耳大而長，戴耳飾。雙手奇長，右手施與願印，左手執袈裟衣角。
寶冠佛造像形式源自於印度波羅王朝（Pala，約8〜12世紀），盛行於菩提伽耶地區。而緬甸的寶冠佛像之外觀和裝束與皇室人物雷同，顯示了國君即佛的思想。
