印尼中爪哇省出土
印尼中爪哇省（Central Java）出土。此像頭梳高髻，戴華麗寶冠，冠上有一呈三角形的飾件，上方有一尊阿彌陀佛像，故知此為觀音菩薩的頭像。菩薩面形上寬下窄，兩頰豐腴，斂目凝神，作沉思狀，靜謐安詳，為典型中爪哇佛教雕像的藝術風格。如此巨大的頭像，可推測雕像必大於常人，就如同印尼中爪哇省馬格朗市（Magelang）曼都寺（Candi Mendut）的造像一般雄偉。
