此唐卡為十七世紀上半葉西藏東部棉布膠彩畫作。白度母戴花冠，斂目俯視，雙唇微抿。袒上身，帔帛繞臂，著橘紅色長裙。左手舉於胸前拈蓮花莖，上托般若經，右手施與願印。前額、手掌及腳掌缺少原本應有的眼睛，造型罕見。結跏趺坐於自水中昇起的蓮座上，白淨的蓮花與度母的身軀相互輝映。背光呈紅橙光暈猶如旭日。
花草樹木為景，間飾鳥禽飛翔，水中蓮花、荷葉朵朵，岸邊二隻大象一灰一白，明暗成趣。上端漸層色暈的天空，繪三位身著紅色袈裟的喇嘛，中間為噶瑪噶舉派上師夏瑪巴。
整體色調和諧，自然風景呈現出特別的美感，屬於藏東早期噶瑪噶舉畫派的風格。此種風格到了十八世紀，演變成一種純樸、強調寫意的高度技法。
