此唐卡為十七世紀上半葉西藏東部棉布膠彩畫作。白度母戴花冠,斂目俯視,雙唇微抿。袒上身,帔帛繞臂,著橘紅色長裙。左手舉於胸前拈蓮花莖,上托般若經,右手施與願印。前額、手掌及腳掌缺少原本應有的眼睛,造型罕見。結跏趺坐於自水中昇起的蓮座上,白淨的蓮花與度母的身軀相互輝映。背光呈紅橙光暈猶如旭日。
 花草樹木為景,間飾鳥禽飛翔,水中蓮花、荷葉朵朵,岸邊二隻大象一灰一白,明暗成趣。上端漸層色暈的天空,繪三位身著紅色袈裟的喇嘛,中間為噶瑪噶舉派上師夏瑪巴。
 整體色調和諧,自然風景呈現出特別的美感,屬於藏東早期噶瑪噶舉畫派的風格。此種風格到了十八世紀,演變成一種純樸、強調寫意的高度技法。
