張孝師
繪畫
生卒年不詳。唐代（618～907）畫家。太宗（626～649在位）時期為驃騎尉。吳道子嘗師法其繪畫，工釋道人物，擅長描繪地獄變相，令人畏懼，不敢造惡，具教化功能。《歷代名畫記》云：「孝師曾死復蘇，具見冥中事，故備得之。」並記載長安（今陝西西安）慈恩寺塔之東南中門外有其壁畫作品地獄變相；三階院東壁和淨法寺殿後，亦繪此題材。《宣和畫譜》記載，吳道子評其地獄變相「群雄推服」。
