佛宮寺釋迦塔供養菩薩像

位於佛宮寺釋迦塔底層內槽南、北門的門額上，各繪三位供養菩薩，南側為女像，北側為男像。據《十地經論》記載：「一切供養者有三種供養，一者利養供養，謂衣服、臥具等；二者恭敬供養，謂香花、幡蓋等；三者行供養，謂修行、信、戒行等。」該塔所繪六身供養人像，當屬恭敬供養。
圖中為南側供養菩薩，頭或戴高冠，或梳雙髻，臉形圓潤。或著長裳，帔帛飄揚；或袒上身，披帔帛，腰繫裙。雙手捧盤，盤內或置寶瓶牡丹，或盛如意祥雲，側身恭敬供養。供養菩薩的面形、衣紋高古，猶具唐畫風韻。
