大足寶頂山石窟大佛灣第21龕柳本尊行化圖之柳本尊像
重慶大足
位於正壁，為第21龕主尊。柳本尊生於唐大中九年（855），卒於五代後晉天福七年（942），姓柳名居直，號柳本尊。出生於四川嘉州（今樂山地區）。唐（618～907）末、五代（907～960）之際弘傳瑜伽密教，建道場於川西彌牟，並傳之後世，在四川影響很大。五代時受蜀主王建封號「唐瑜伽部主總持王」。
圖中柳本尊作居士打扮，跏趺坐於蓮座上，身著對襟衫，頭戴藍色四方平頂巾。額心出一道毫光，曲升至頂上托舉大日如來。右眼失明，左眼微閉，缺左耳，斷左臂，突顯其捨身度眾生之難行能行。下頦有三綹長鬚，左袖軟搭於膝上，右手舉於胸前作說法狀。全像通體經貼金處理。
