大足寶頂山石窟大佛灣第20龕地獄變相之地藏菩薩
重慶大足
位於龕上部正中。地藏菩薩頭戴花冠，身穿對襟袈裟，胸前飾有瓔珞，結跏趺坐於蓮座上。雙目微閉，神情莊重，以悲憫之心俯視地獄中的芸芸眾生。右手上舉於胸前結印，左手捧一摩尼珠置於腹前；從珠內發出六道毫光，上面兩道橫貫龕頂，下面兩道直通地獄，中間兩道射向左右兩側的十王雕刻。
地藏為一大乘菩薩，有「眾生度盡方證菩提，地獄未空誓不成佛」的大悲誓願。以地、水、火、風四大的地大為名，《大乘大集地藏十輪經》卷一〈序品〉第一稱其「安忍不動，猶如大地。靜慮深密，猶如秘藏。」
