畫師 繪畫卷
別名帥上座、帥都維那、長覺房等。生卒年不詳。日本平安時代 （794～1185）後期畫師。任法眼僧位。活躍於十二世紀中葉，於滋賀園城寺法輪院，協助天台僧覺猷收集圖像；保延至久安年間（1135～1150）居住於京都醍醐寺。長承元年（1132）高野山大傳法院（已移址和歌山根來寺）落成，定智繪製二階堂壁畫，現已不存。
傳世作品以久安元年（1145）為奉納和歌山金剛峰寺所繪製的善女龍王像最為著名，現為日本國寶。其筆法多採用中國宋畫樣式，描線雄勁挺秀，技藝精湛。
