甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。觀音菩薩右腿盤起，左腳下踏紅蓮，坐於束腰台座上。頭戴寶冠，披白紗帽，佩耳璫、瓔珞及腕釧；白衣衣緣紅色，飾金色花紋。右手執楊柳枝，左手提淨瓶，眉目慈祥，雙目下視，面對供養人。座前鉢內供奉牡丹。
供養人跪於方毯上，著白色長袍，神情虔誠恭謹，手持長柄香爐，香煙繚繞。供養人身後立一持扇侍從，身形較小。圖右上部有童子傾盆散花及仰蓮承金剛杵，各自乘駕祥雲飄降而來。
作品具唐代（618～907）繪畫風貌，用線遒勁有力，敷色以青、紅、白為主，部分描金，色彩濃厚，技法純熟。
