Ajanta Cave 17: Seven Buddhas of the Past and Maitreya Bodhisattva - Sakyamuni and Maitreya
阿旃陀石窟第17窟過去七佛及彌勒菩薩像
印度馬哈拉施特拉邦奧蘭加巴德
位於阿旃陀石窟（Ajanta Caves）第17窟窟門門楣上方。部分畫面雖有剝落，仍可看出原來風貌。過去七佛及彌勒菩薩並列趺坐，以圓柱相間隔，皆有素面的頭光及身光。頭光上飾以寶樹，枝葉描繪精細。諸像面貌相似，膚色有所不同。袈裟樣式為通肩或右袒，手印有降魔、禪定、轉法輪等。
圖右端之彌勒菩薩結跏趺坐於無憂樹下，寶冠高聳，卷髮披肩，頸飾瓔珞，戴臂釧、腕釧，形象雍容華貴。其右側為釋迦牟尼佛，肉髻扁平，螺髮，結跏趺坐，手結轉法輪印，頭光上飾菩提枝葉。
