文殊菩薩梳高髮髻，面相豐圓，神態沉靜。披帔帛，衣袖飛揚，胸、腹均有飾物。左手托瓶置於於左腿，右手執法物；盤右腿，舒左腿，採半跏坐姿坐於獅子背負的長莖蓮座上。
獅子豎耳瞪眼，頭向左轉，張口怒吼，長尾高翹，邁步向前，作行進狀，姿態生動。身形矮小的獅奴立於一旁，頭戴尖帽，絡腮鬍，著交領服，舉起右臂。獅下置雙層四足方座。菩薩身後原有背光已失。此文殊造像屬典型的遼代（907～1125）造像形式。
