Vajra Bell

KOREA; Goryeo dynasty

The top of this bell is in the form of a five-prong vajra. The handle is decorated with lotus petals, and there are three-tier lotus petals on the shoulder. Images of the Five Wisdom Kings, Acala, Ucchusma, Trailokyavijaya, Kundali, and Yamantaka, can be found on the waist, the bodies and features of whom are discernible. Engraved lines decorate both sides of the Wisdom Kings.
