Gilt bronze
This bronze stupa was cast in the 16th century and consists of a base, body, and spire. The octagonal base is decorated with embossed lines, and the bell-shaped body is surmounted by a harmika with miniature columns, followed by a tall, tapering spire consisting of 15 stacked rings. The spire culminates in a slender finial. There is no canopy, which is unusual for a stupa design. The gilding on parts of the body has peeled away to reveal the bronze color beneath. It is a typical Buddhist stupa from the Ayutthaya Kingdom (circa 1350–1767).
