Bronze
This piece consists of a base, a statue of Hevajra, and a removable shrine. The base has four tiers and multiple corners. Standing on the base is a shrine with twelve pillars. Four tympana contain a Buddha image at the center, flanked by the bodies of two nagas with heads facing outward. Lotus motifs line the upper edges of the tympana. In the center of the base are eight large lotus petals which support the statue of Hevajra.
The gilt bronze statue of Hevajra has nine heads and 16 arms. The nine heads are stacked in three layers and each face contains three eyes. The bare upper body is adorned with a necklace. There is a pleated waist cloth. Hevajra stands in a dancing pose and steps on four demons with the left leg bent and the right foot placed behind the left knee.
Hevajra is surrounded by eight yoginis, two of which are missing. The yoginis stand on their right legs with their left legs and their right arms raised in an elegant dancing pose.
