An inscription on the right of this incense burner dates it to 1846, while on the left states the name of the donor. The inscription in the center in a bold seal script is the name of the temple.
The incense burner is rectangular in shape with a wide rim. Including the two curved ruyi-shape handles, it measures 65 cm long, 26 cm wide, and 39 cm high. The base is wider than the body and is decorated with ribbon patterns and has a lion’s head at each corner. The legs supporting the base are in the form of lions’ paws.
The incense burner has simple lines, elegant inscriptions, and restrained decoration.
