
Silver
This silver reliquary casket consists of a base, body, and lid. It measures 33 cm long, with a width of 18.5 cm at the front and 14 cm at the back. The height is 26 cm at the front and 20 cm at the back. It weighs 1.1 kg. The base has three tiers with a series of rivets. At the front of the body is a false door with a richly decorated tympanum showing an image of an apsara on either side of a flaming jewel. At the ends of the tympanum, there is a leaf containing a Buddha image. Similar leaves with seated Buddha images line both sides of the casket body. The lid is curved with a plain surface on the top and scroll leaf patterns along the sides.
