Gilt copper alloy, porcelain, and sandstone
The main structure is a Tibetan stupa, which consists of a base, body, and spire. The exquisite multi-tier base has several corners. The stupa body is in the form of an inverted bowl with four niches. The base of the spire has multiple corners and is followed by 13 stacked rings, on either side of which is a depiction of a Bodhisattva riding on a cloud. At the top of the stupa, there is a canopy with hanging drapery. The finial consists of an inverted bowl and jewels. From the inscription on the stupa, it is known that Admiral Zhenghe dedicated it to Hongjue Temple Pagoda.
The porcelain jars have a diamond lotus petal pattern with an irregular geometric design inside. The shoulders and lids have a blue lotus pattern on a white background. The gilt bronze reclining Buddha is on a platform just beneath the stupa. The whole structure is supported by a Sumeru base carved out of sandstone. On either side, there are kneeling warriors balancing a tray filled with fruit on their heads.
