Porcelain
This porcelain jar was found in 1974. The narrow base is decorated with upright lotus petals. The jar curves gently outward and has slight shoulders with a wide mouth. The body and shoulders have images of a naga, a turtle, a phoenix, and two dragons, together with scroll leaf designs. The large lid has a knob in the form of a Tibetan stupa, with a niche containing a seated Buddha. Distributed around the lid are treasures such as mushrooms and rhinoceros horn. The perimeter of the lid is encircled with two strings of beads. There are inscriptions on the shoulder and neck dating it to 1338 and stating that it was used by Ambassador Lou.
