Namkha Sangpo

CHINA, Tibet, Shigatse

Namkha Sangpo was a sculptor from Ladui, Tibet. According to an inscription on a mural at Palcho Monastery in Gyantse, over ten shrines within the monastery’s Kumbum Stupas retain sculptures made by him. These shrines are on the second, third, and fourth stories.
