This image is located on the right side within the back (west) wall niche. It depicts the scene of the manifested Bodhisattva, who after returning from the Fragrant Land to appeal for alms, offers the fragrant rice before Manjusri. The Bodhisattva kneels on one knee on a lotus base and holds an alms bowl in offering with both hands. The figure has a circular nimbus, a topknot, and a headdress. Golden necklaces, bracelets, and armlets adorn the figure, whose white celestial garments appear thin and transparent. Green ribbons hang from the shoulders and a belt is tied at the waist.
