The statue is unique in that the robes are covered with smaller images of Buddhas. Each Buddha has a nimbus and form various mudras while seated in full lotus position on a lotus throne. Some figures have names inscribed on them. A large jewel is visible on the main Buddha’s head. The figure’s neck has the three lines of a great person, while a Dharma wheel is present in the middle of the chest. The Buddha is seated in full lotus position with hands forming the uttarabodhi (supreme enlightenment) mudra. The face and the chest of the Buddha are painted in red and gold.
