This cave was constructed in 1141 during the Southern Song dynasty. It is 3.5 m wide, 3.02 m high, and 5.79 m deep. Amitabha Buddha is located in the center of the back wall, flanked by Avalokitesvara and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattvas. Five statues of Avalokitesvara can be seen on each wall of the cave. Statues of Sudhana and the Naga Girl are located near the entrance to the cave.
Amitabha Buddha sits in full lotus position on a lotus throne, wearing a monastic robe. A mandorla and a flame-patterned nimbus are painted behind the statue. Avalokitesvara and Mahasthamaprapta sit on square thrones, each of which is held up by two creatures. The Bodhisattvas wear tall headdresses, earrings, chest ornaments, and loose bracelets.
Just outside the cave entrance are the Four Heavenly Kings; two stand on the left side and two are on the right. The kings wear helmets, armor, and tall boots. They each have a nimbus carved behind their heads. Inside the cave an inscription can be found above each statue, but the characters have suffered from weathering and many are difficult to discern.
