Jing Loong Shan Wan Fo Shih, or Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas at Golden Dragon Mountain, is located on the outskirts of Rawang in Selangor. It is one of the largest temples in Malaysia, and was founded by monk Wentong in 1993.
The main buildings on the temple grounds are the Great Hero Hall and the bell and drum towers. The Great Hero Hall is seven bays wide and has a double-eave hip roof. One major feature of the hall is the set of main doors made of unpainted Burmese teak with eight copper auspicious symbols. Inside the hall, the main statues are Sakyamuni Buddha, the Medicine Buddha, and Amitabha Buddha. Sakyamuni Buddha is flanked by his disciples Mahakasyapa and Ananda, while the Medicine Buddha is attended by Suryaprabha and Candraprabha Bodhisattvas, and Amitabha Buddha by Avalokitesvara and Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattvas. There are six reliefs depicting scenes from the Lotus Sutra on the side walls. The bell and drum towers, which are on either side of the Great Hero Hall, both have pyramidal roofs. The temple is laid out with the same grandness as a traditional Chinese Buddhist temple, which is rare in Malaysia.
