The five-tier stone pagoda is located within Hakrimsa (Crane Forest Temple). It was built during the Goryeo dynasty (918–1392) and was reconstructed in the Joseon dynasty (1392–1910). It is listed as National Treasure No. 83.
The pagoda has a height of 6.6 m and is constructed from granite. The base consists of an inverted lotus and an upright lotus, but the lotuses are hardly visible as the result of serious erosion. The pagoda body has five tiers and each tier has corner pilasters. The south face of the first tier is carved with doors and a lock, and on the fifth tier there are carvings of floral patterns on all four faces. There is corbeling under the eaves of each tier and the eaves are slightly upturned at the corners. The 2 m high spire consists of an octagonal base, stacked rings, and a jewel.
