The Bodhisattva is seated with ankles crossed and hands in what is likely the Dharmacakra (Dharma wheel) mudra. The figure wears a headdress with tresses of hair falling across the shoulders and a decoration of an eight-petaled lotus. A canopy is above the Bodhisattva, with a kneeling group of Bodhisattvas and devotees on either side. Lions flank the throne with squared pillars beside them that support the lintel of an arched niche. The lintel is filled with a flame pattern. The relief on the reverse shows a pair of contemplative Bodhisattvas seated under the dragon flower tree.
