Shen Fu

CHINA, Shanghai; Yuan dynasty

Shen Fu was a monk with a Dharma name of Hui and a nickname of Fuzhi. He was a calligrapher and painter active between 1341 and 1367 of the Yuan dynasty.
Fields with Similar Fragrance, Shen’s extant painting, and his calligraphic work, Postscript on the Sixteen Arhats, are presently kept at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
