This mural is on the back (west) wall of the main chamber in Cave 48 and surrounded the statue that once rested inside the niche. An illustration of a gandharva with five hair knots can be seen on the left side, outside the niche. The right hand holds a harp, while the left hand is held up high. Curled hair drapes over both shoulders. An illustration of Sakra seated cross-legged on a square throne is depicted on the right side of the niche. Behind Sakra is his consort, clad in Kuchean attire. There are heavenly beings dancing and playing instruments above the niche. They follow Sakra to pay respects to the Buddha. The musicians play chimes, a lute, and a flute, while the dancers grasp their flowing stoles in their hands.
