Avalokitesvara, with the right foot resting on the left leg, sits on a lotus throne. The Bodhisattva wears a headdress with a Buddha image in the center and ornaments on the side. The white robe is draped over the headdress and the shoulders, partially covering a delicately patterned inner robe and dhoti. The green color of the nimbus matches the hem of the robe. Multiple flowers bloom from the stalk of the lotus throne. On the left, a bird is perched atop a willow branch placed in a vase that rests on a lotus flower. Below, Sudhana stands on another lotus flower and joins his palms in reverence.
