This pagoda is located at the site of Wollamsa (Temple of the Southern Moon). The pagoda was built during the Goryeo dynasty (918–1392). It was listed as Treasure No. 298 in 1963.
The 7 m high pagoda has a base and body formed from numerous stones. The square base has almost the same width as the first tier of the pagoda’s body and it is not as high. It consists of a stone platform supported by stone slabs between supporting pillars, all resting on the low stone base platform. The first tier of the pagoda body is higher than the second and third tiers. Each face of the pagoda is irregular. The roofs of the first and second levels consist of three layers of regular corbeling and reverse corbeling. The roof on the third tier has two layers of regular corbeling and three layers of reverse corbeling. The spire consists of a square solid-stone base surmounted by a canopy, an inverted bowl, and an upturned lotus.
