VIETNAM

This vessel is grayish ivory in color and illustrated in dark brown. The body has lotus designs which appear as reliefs towards the shoulder. At the base of the shoulder is a ring of stamped rosettes followed by spaced out disks. The neck is in three sections and curves outwards to form a wide rim. The lid has reliefs and a knob in the form of a lotus bud. A curved handle extends from the shoulder to the neck on one side and a spout on the other side.
