The two Bodhisattvas are carved within a niche on the left side of the doorway. An inscription to the right dates the niche to 678 of the Tang dynasty. The Bodhisattvas stand in tribhanga pose upon lotus pedestals, have double-layered nimbuses, and wear their hair in high topknots. Dressed in long, fitted dhotis, the Bodhisattvas are adorned with necklaces on their upper bodies. The Bodhisattva on the left holds a vase in the right hand and a whisk in the left hand, while the one on the right grasps a stole with both hands. Both of the figures’ faces are damaged.
