This image of Vajradhara was originally located at the bottom left of the statue on the back wall of the main chamber. Vajradhara is seated on a square woven seat, wearing a jeweled crown with two feathers and earrings of pearl. The hair is coiled at the back of the head. The figure is clad in flowing stoles, ornaments, and a knee-length lower garment. The vajra held in his left hand before the chest is painted in green and brown, giving a three-dimensional effect, and a whisk is held high in the right hand. Vajradhara’s left foot touches the ground, and the right foot is folded on the seat. Vajradhara looks heavenward with a slightly tilted head and raised eyes.
