This detail is part of the illustration of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva located on the west wall. The youth is located in the bottom register of the image, among the attendants leading Samantabhadra’s white elephant. He has a small patch of hair on the forehead and a full, rounded face encircled by a nimbus. The figure wears fitted clothing including a shirt with a round collar, narrow sleeves with ruffles at the elbows, and a sash tied at the waist. His short, plump legs are depicted in a hopping motion. The youth joins palms while turning his head back towards the white elephant.
